Our home has been a work in progress. We have been trying to slowly build and style a home that suits us. When visiting a friend's home awhile ago, I was asked, what our home theme was (their's was Tropical theme). I didn't quite know how to answer it because we really did not know what our theme was supposed to be. As we find furniture pieces that we love, discovered wall colors, and home accessesories that intrigued us, I finally discovered what our home theme was. It was a theme that combined mine and my husband's taste. It is our compromise. It is our middleground. Our home is a little bit of him, a little bit of me - it was ours. It was a combination of modern (his style), and traditional (mine). It was a combination of monochromatic color (his) and colorful paisleys (mine). It was a combination of clean and simple (his) and artsy (mine). It was a combination of flat screen TV's and Van Gogh art replica paintings. It is a theme that is as complex and as simple as our life together. It was a theme that is just our own - our home.

Hey you make it sound like my tastes are boring and lame, and yours is cool and awesome. WTF! Ha! Anyway the family and living room turned out nice.
